James Pennebaker, Ph.D. is the Chairman of the Department of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the areas of social, personality and language psychology. He has published or edited 8 books and over 150 scientific articles. In addition to his work with Pennebaker, he consults with universities, medical schools and has worked with the FBI, CIA, the Texas Attorney General's office and NATO's bioterrorism group.
